Dr. Christian Haslbeck Spokesperson of the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency
“None of us is as smart as all of us.”
This sentence, which was coined by the American entrepreneur Kenneth H. Blanchard, is an apt leitmotif for the work of the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency. For the last nine years, the agency and its five partners have been a reliable point of contact for Bavarian stakeholders seeking to successfully realise their innovative ideas. The common goal of all partners is to offer efficient assistance in realising research and innovation projects. The range of services offered by the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency is tailored to provide scientists and companies with integrated support to their innovative projects – from conception of the project idea through to its implementation.
A total of 190 dedicated employees at the two sites in Munich and Nuremberg strive every day to make research and innovation in Bavaria ever more transparent and efficient. This is how the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency seeks to contribute to consolidating and expanding on the pioneering position of the high-tech state of Bavaria when it comes to trailblazing technologies of the future.
In order to ensure the success of innovative ideas, each of the five partners makes its own specific contribution, according to the motto: ‘specialised, but cooperative and coordinated’. This would not be possible without close and trusting collaboration and coordination between the five partners. The collaborative ethos has been built up over the years and is highly successful in practice. In my role as Managing Director of the Bavarian Research Foundation, I am looking forward to continuing to implement this blueprint for success in the tradition of my predecessors Martin Reichel (Bavarian Research Alliance) and Dr. Rainer Seßner (Bayern Innovativ). In 2019, I will be delighted to take on the role of spokesperson for the partnership, which is the only one of its kind in Germany.
